Installation and performance “Guest” by Laura Põld and Johna Hansen was part of the group exhibition “Structured Frustrations”, curated by Samira Hashemi.
Guest was an interactive performative installation and a poetical space contemplating on home – the withheld private sphere in Iran. The combination of moving wooden structures, textile, embroidery and ceramic objects became a backdrop for the interactive performance lasting for three days and functioning also as a research field for the artist collaborative Johna Hansen and Laura Põld. The visitors were invited to draw a picture or share stories about their domestic scenes. The participatory artwork was gradually developing on site and collected information was being archived both in the gallery space and on the Instagram page of the event.
