Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM)
April 16 – June 5, 2016

Köler Prize nominees were invited to show two artworks: an already existing work and a newly commissioned work. Põld showed “Last Night Your Mate Danced Like A Tree” (2014 – 2016) and “Beam caused by the flight of a bee around a pomegranate, a second before awakening” (2016) – a site-specific installation consisting of metal beams, ceramics, mirrors, lamps, and sound by Juhan Vihterpal, that was created especially for the given venue.

The nominees for the Köler Prize 2016 were Art Allmägi, Krista Mölder, Kristi Kongi, Laura Põld and Raul Keller. The winner of Köler Prize 2016 Grand Prix was Laura Põld. The People’s Choice Award went to Art Allmägi.
