Lavoir is a site-specific installation made in dialogue with an old lavoir, a historic public wash-house that belongs to La Boissière, an ancestral home in rural southwest France. The installation consists of fossil-like ceramic sculptures, electric fountain mechanisms, mist machines and two hand-tufted pictorial carpets, hanging in the shade of the wash-house.
